The Honey Baked Ham Company

My wife grew up outside Detroit, less than a mile from the original Honey Baked Ham store. Her family would get a large ham or two for holidays and also send them to a neighbor or family member as a bereavement gift. After we were married, we continued this tradition for many years. The quality of the meat is always great; we even use the bone for split pea soup. Folks that receive a ham always thank us and tell us how the food helped fill gaps when people at the house were hungry or when visitors stopped in to pay their respects. Always a win-win! Now that there are fewer stores, I had to order one and pick it up, and deliver the ham to friends of ours. I was disappointed to learn that only frozen hams could be delivered by the store.

10/26/23 Thursday came here around 11:40 am for lunch because the ham is so good! The customer service was excellent and Ana was welcoming and friendly! I ordered the Ham & cheddar biscuits and I ordered the classic ham & cheese sandwich classic on a croissant. The ham & cheese sandwich was perfect the ham is so delicious the croissant tasted fresh and you get a good portion of ham on your sandwich. I got the meal also chips and a drink. If you want to seat and eat plenty of tables and it’s very clean inside. Definitely need to get a ham for Thanksgiving at this place also!

I love the spiral ham. Seems expensive, but do a weighted average ( literally) to quality deli hams and you'll never go to the deli again.

You cannot call in an order. You must put your name address, phone number and credit card information on their website to order anything! I’m done giving my information away just to eat lunch!
