We were referred to The Hurst Company in 2024. They overestimated our 2025 taxes by over $150,000. It was only thru our research were we able to reduce the amount. The firm does not do a thorough review of tax filings. Unless you are knowledgeable, use another firm. Subsequent to writing the review above, we had a follow up discussion with Mr. Hurst. He wanted us to point out that the overestimate occurred before the taxes were paid and the estimate was reduced based upon our research. Accordingly, the firm was responsive to us.
