Typical beachy vibe pancake house EXCEPT NOT your typical pancake! The pancakes are seriously HUGE!! The size of Frisbees and delicious! Every plate orderd the entree was oversized. The Mess breakfast lived up to its name and was so good! The French toast was great and the omelet was tasty. Service was slow but typical for the beach at breakfast time and the wait staff was very nice.
Walked in and was greeted immediately with a smile and great hospitality. Sat at the counter ordered the Island omelet OMG IT was Phenomenal was full of shrimp and bursting with flavor, good thick white toast and coffee was good as well. If your visiting ft myers beach you definitely have to come here for breakfast there open from 7am -230 pm . Wonderful staff and this omelet will have your taste buds dancing.
The Islands Pancake House, is a hole in the wall mom and pop, hidden gem. It’s not easy to see from the road , but it’s worth looking for! My family and I stopped at 8:45 on a Tuesday morning and it was not busy. But by the time we left the restaurant was full. Our server, Doug, provided a friendly welcome. He was funny, laid back, quirky in a good way, and good at his job. We ordered standard breakfast fare, and our food was ready surprisingly fast. Everything was cooked and seasoned well, and so delicious. The Island’s Pancake House provided our favorite breakfast experience while staying on the island for a week. We’ll be back! Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great little island find. Locally owned mom and pop place. Destroyed by the hurricane and built back strong! Stacey and Brian treat their customers like friends. Great island décor. We had good food and large portions. Though not advertised, they have gluten-free pancakes. Great service by the owner, Stacey and her staff Debbie and Amanda.
It is a nice place with great food. Our server was super friendly. We had pecan waffle and some home fries and steak and eggs. Delicious.
