The Jambalaya Shoppe

Unfortunately, this is the second time I get a small bucket of chicken and sausage gumbo and it’s mostly shredded meat. It’s more meat than liquid …is not gumbo. I hate this because of the restaurant doesn’t have enough gumbo with the liquid, then don’t serve it to them. When I got home, it is nothing but slop. This is the second time this happened, the second time. This makes me not to come here anymore. I’ll find somewhere else to go.

This place never disappoints me. I walk in and I'm greeted with a smile and given great customer service every time! And as a customer service professional, myself, there's nothing more important to me than this. And every time I come into this place, it's clean!!! That's more than I can say for a lot of places. Thanks for the great service y'all!.. As for the food, my husband has no complaints! For I am vegan, but he is very much a meat eater and this is his favorite place to order gumbo from. So if you're in the mood to eat some gumbo, this is the place to go!.. Don't waste your time going anywhere else. Thanks Jambalaya shop! .. And to all the employees that work here who never disappoint me 😊

So me and my girlfriend wanted to have a nice little date together, and she really enjoys Jambalaya. Coming here was perfect. The service was nice, I had accidentally gotten the wrong order and was fixed immediately and still got to keep what was initially given. The pastalaya is really good, a decent amount of spice but delicious. And just the general sit down area was comfortable! Definitely planning another date here again.

Ran across this place going back north La . Found out new owners , Sunday buffet? 10 stars! They made an amazing gumbo, green beans - yes! Pastayla! Absolutely! The sweet tea - perfection!

Good food, fast service, emaculately clean and delicious! We stopped for a quick bite while on vacation. Our order was taken and we were served quickly. My husband had gumbo and I had the red beans and rice. The portions were generous, the flavors were excellent and I especially liked the extra heat and flavor offered by their signature seasoning (in a "salt shaker on the table). We are glad we were able to stop by on our trip.
