The Joseph Café with Iron Horse Saloon and Casino

My wife and I travel through the Forsyth area a lot, but tonight we stayed in town for the first time since 2016. The Joseph Cafe looked to be an excellent supper choice, so we gave them a call for takeaway. Hats off to the staff and the chef! The host was very accommodating, knocking together a delicious chicken-fried steak dinner option that isn't on the menu. It came with homemade mashed potatoes and a very good brown gravy, along with a charming and inviting dinner salad (I chose Caesar dressing) Those who know me know that I never eat salad, but I really enjoyed this one and highly recommend it! My wife had a delicious chicken strip basket with excellent house-cut French fries that were cooked and tasted exactly as they should be. We enjoyed our meal and will also be very happy to ord

Went to Joseph Cafe last night. Pros: Best steak I have had in a long time, very good. The atmosphere was cozy and clean. Cons: the "salad bar" was a verity of soggy pasta salads and canned fruit. All together a good experience and I would return and recommend to friends.

Very friendly staff. My server recommended the breakfast tacos, and I am glad I listened. They were very flavorful and the homemade pico de gallo was excellent. They were filling, but not to the point where you feel too full. I talked with a lot of the staff, who were friendly and made great conversation. I enjoyed the breakfast and hope to come back and try lunch or dinner sometime.

Seriously good food! Go here! Eat food! Be happy! The owner has a gift to make people feel like you've been part of the family forever. Truly excellent experience!

Tonight was the maiden voyage of the Chimichanga at The Joseph Cafe. It came out piping hot, stuffed full of chicken, beans and Pico de Gallo, and was as big as my head! The flavor was outstanding and I will be full for a week! If you are close by, come in and treat yourself to good food. Great job Laurie, Ty, and the crew of the Joseph Cafe!
