Service and atmosphere outstanding as usual, food was overall solid, however, some misses. First, if you like crab don’t get the rigatoni with dungeness crab because there wasn’t any crab in it. Maybe crab essence. While the fennel, butter, pepper sauce was flavorful you ummm forgot something … it was a joke … very disappointing. I’d avoid the fried zucchini appetizer. The breading wasn’t too heavy nor was it greasy, but the zucchini was too undercooked. The pappardelli with meat ragu and shishito peppers was more of a standout … good balance among the excellent homemade pasta, ragu and crunchy peppers. Ravioli uovo was prepared to perfection as always, and chicken saltimbocca was solid with crimini and oyster mushrooms. Two thumbs up in the lemon tart.

One of our favorite spots in Marin. It’s rare for me to go to a place I love and order something different every time since I usually find my dish and stick to it. But at KT, I make a point to try something new on each visit, and it never misses. I walk out with a new “favorite dish” every single time. The vibe is always relaxed, never rushed and overall just good energy and consistently great service. It’s a small local restaurant doing top-quality food without any of the pretentiousness.

Every time I go to this gem, I'm amazed at the creativity of the menu and the quality of the food. From the appetizers to the desserts, and everything in between, this is one outstanding restaurant. The owner is obviously a very talented chef who works hard to make sure every single menu item has been carefully thought out and prepared. Fabulous.

I'm calling michelin star in their future. The starter truffle ravioli is so decadent and rich you can't have more than one. Me and my friend shared one and then stopped all the yumminess with their wonderful bread. I have the shrimp tagliatelle and she had the pasta carbonara. We wanted seconds to take home because couldn't see not having some the next day. We live 2 hours away and happened to be working at a wedding nearby and google searched a place to eat. But we wanted a nice dinner. This is a small place so make sure to have a reservation. The service was better than some fine dining restaurants I've been in from the greeting at the door, to using a crumber to make sure our dining experience was top notch. No rushed service. Every time we’ve had dinner there the food has been fresh, nicely presented and very delicious. We have all been very satisfied with our dishes, from side dishes to appetizers to main dishes and desserts. Service has also been quite good with staff that are efficient, attentive, non intrusive and responsive. The place is not very big and not too loud so it’s easy to chat, and there is a nice outdoor area. Truly one of the very best restaurants in San Rafael.
