The Little IZAKA-YA by Katsu-ya

This place for years has been my all time favorite. The service is unbelievably fast, welcoming and of top notch and respectful. The food is always fresh and the chefs you Can tell are very passionate on what they do and the hold the Japanese craft to a high regard. I spoke to the manager he carries himself with his culture and pride very high. He is so incredibly kind and respectful. The restaurant really is a sight to behold and truly a gem in the United States. I drive an hour there without hesitation. As far as I’m concerned there is no place like it. Until next time 🙏

The food is great and priced very well. I would say that the lunch special is very worth it and if you are trying the restaurant for the first time the lunch specials are the way to go to get a taste of it. Fish quality is also good for the price

Katsuya in Sherman Oaks is really good. The sushi is fresh, the rolls are super flavorful, and everything looks clean and nice. It feels kind of fancy but still chill, and the food definitely lives up to the hype. I’d go back for sure.

My new favorite spot! All dishes were phenomenal. Our waiter Laura was super sweet. They were so busy and forgot about my hot green tea and popcorn shrimp but it’s understandable. Still will come back and highly recommend.

hidden gem in sherman oaks. we got here only by accident. when we came in the place was packed. we waited for 15 minutes to get a table at the counter. we tried many different dishes and a couple of rolls and were blown away by the quality and execution. very affordable top quality sushi! very quick service and a very cool and lively place to spend an hour or two.
