Customer Reviews
We drove to Hot Springs from Louisiana for a day trip and had this place picked out already from reading the reviews. It did not disappoint. We started off with crawfish cajun corn dip with pita chips- very good! I love a good hamburger but they were out at the time and our server, Chris suggested I try the seabass entree. It was served over cilantro lime rice and had a cream sauce. It did not disappoint! The rest of our party got fried shrimp poboy, fried shrimp platter and fried shrimp salad and it was enjoyed by everyone. It was a beautiful cold day, so we sat inside and enjoyed the view. Chris was very friendly and attentive.
We were a bit skeptical at first, as restaurants on Lake Hamilton can sometimes be gimmicky with very average/ below average food. We loved the location of the resteraunt, and we had come before when it was a Mexican restaurant. There was a bit of a wait with many open tables, but fortunately we were able to sit at the bar. Alexis our server was very friendly and attentive the whole time. We started out with the oysters and fried mushrooms with ranch. Both were fantastic! My husband got the fried catfish topped with a cajun seafood sauce (it started with an A but can't remember the name). I got the cajun boil platter. Both were VERY good! The cajun boil platter definitely could have used more cajun seasoning, I tasted only a "hint" of it. The crab legs were probably some of the best we ha
First time here and would definitely recommend. Staff were very friendly and food was tasty & fresh. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the deck was comfortable. We had the Cajun shrimp pasta that was our favorite very flavorful. The 2 catfish 4 shrimp plate is a good sized serving and also really tasty. Shrimp is large size. Didn’t picture it but We also had 2 “Boil” platers with 1lb shrimp & crab leg cluster. The boil good but definitely underwhelming, was served very simple with melted butter and a half of corn on the co. the shrimp was well cooked. I think an option to add seasoning or a Cajun spice would be a good addition. Overall We enjoyed our visit and would definitely be back.
From the food to the amazing service I couldn’t be more pleased! Kaleigh took such great care of my family and I that we will never ask for anyone else! She did not skip a beat even though the place was packed. She was so great with my kids, made them smile the whole time and accommodated all their picky request. Our drinks were always full and her recommendations were all spot on. We loved the crawfish eggrolls (to die for), the salads were so fresh & the homemade croutons were a nice touch! We had the a couple pounds of crawfish and it DELICIOUS the perfect amount of spice! Even the bar drinks she recommended were delicious! We will definitely be back!
It's easy to overlook this hidden gem (literally unable to see it from the road!) I sat at the bar and was instantly greeted by Alexis. They have the usual suspects for beer selections on tap, but I was pleasantly surprised to see Kona Big Wave as well as Shiner Bock. I ordered the Boudin Egg rolls and and 1/2 and 1/2. The egg rolls are a cheesy, gooey, and crispy blend of molten lava of tastiness. The 1/2 and 1/2 snow crab and boiled shrimp, with potatoes and corn. I grew up in Florida, so I am SUPER picky about seafood. This rivaled some of my favorite seafood shacks, in a completely landlocked state, no less. The crab wasn't freezer burned, the shrimp was cooked perfectly. My focus was the seafood, not the sides but I got a bite of a potato and the corn. The corn was fresh, the potato
