Good atmosphere, good tasting food and plenty of it, with a great variety even kangaroo, great drinks, and excellent service.
Went for dinner last night with some girlfriends. No wait and we sat in the bar area. Two of us ordered the steak salad and the other ordered the fish tacos. Steak salad was bib lettuce with some goat cheese, fried onions and two small skewers of meat on top. I asked my friend who also had salad if hers was crunchy too. She assumed the crunchiness was the fried onions, it was grit in the greens 😣🤨 I dine here only occasionally, and only went last night because it was convenient in the storm, but I am always disappointed by the quality of the food served for the price.
Way overpriced and just wasn't good. I got the Pickled Beet Salad with fish of the day ($30 total), the most expansive salad on the menu, as my dinner entree. It was the size of a small side salad. Half the size of both the other salads on the menu. The fish was tiny and overcooked. Pretty dry and not much flavor (about 1.5"x2"x0.75 and for $12(!!)). There was no goat cheese anywhere near that salad. I also got a mocktail, which I usually love, but this was just soda water with some sirop for $10. I wish I just got sprite instead. When I got home I needed to make my self a sandwich to make up for that dinner. Some other reviews say that the pub food is a bit better there, so I'm willing to give that a try, but otherwise won't be back here again.
Google said they had no tables but called close to opening and they did. Looks out over the golf course and terrace. Bar area with TVs and more of a formal dining room option. Good service. See pics for a few menu items. No pics of the buffalo cauliflower and Asian brussels. So tasty. Must get the zeppole donuts. So light and dipping sauces were delicious- lemon curd, strawberry and chocolate (tasted like pudding).
Really great service and attentive staff. The atmosphere was very cozy and slightly upscale (business casual). The food on the other hand was not very impressive. They lacked seasoning on their fish tacos in particular. The brussels sprouts and potatoes were decently flavorful. Not the most outstanding place for food.
