The Loft at Pirate's Cove Resort

I recently hosted my late mother's celebration of life here & could not have been more pleased with every aspect of the experience. From the planning w/Oscar (who is absolutely amazing), to the food, the staff, the atmosphere...everyone was so accommodating & everything was superb! We had a large group of 25 & it was a perfect evening, filled with laughter and wonderful memories of my mother. Thank so much to everyone at The Pirates Cove who played a role in making it so special. My mother would have loved it!! If I could give 10 stars I would.

We have a group of 9 friends that go out to dinner and listen to live music weekly. Tonight one of our people was celebrating a birthday and we decided to go to Pirates Cove for dinner and to check out the band Justified. One of our group is an excellent cook and baker. She made homemade fruit tarts with homemade lemon curd and fresh fruit on a buttery crust. Our baker even brought plastic plates. We order apps and drinks. When we were ordering our meals the server said that the manger told her to make sure to tell us that if anyone ate the fruit tarts that our friend brought that we would be charged a cake fee of $2.50 per person. We said that we did not have a cake that needed to be cut or served by the staff. We had fruit tarts and brought our own plates. The server said sorry, it's not

We dined at this restaurant with a group of friends. For appetizers my bride had the mussels and I had the French pinion soup. For our entrees, I had the seafood platter, my bride had the shrimp scampi. Finally for dessert we shared a slice of the caramel cheesecake. THE ATMOSPHERE: The restaurant is on the water with bar seating and white cloth table dining in several rooms. If you’re looking for seaside dining Pirates Cove will suite you fine. THE FOOD: Our appetizers… My French onion soup was made like a traditional French onion soup with plenty of melted cheese and oodles of onions. There were plenty of mussels bathed in a delicious white wine and butter base for my brides mussels appetizer. Glad I came across this spot, it has an awesome little boutique resort attached to it. The grounds are beautiful and properly maintained. The other day was the first time I’ve eaten at the restaurant as an adult and I was blown away! My aunt and I ordered a pizza with onions and sausage (medium sized 8 slice pie) and an order of doz. Wine/Butter soaked clams to split, along with 4 happy hour cocktails total was $75! Foood was amazing service was fast server was awesome and knowledgeable. Great spot great views

Quiet joint at the end of a residential block. Marina/Hotel/Restaurant. Food and drinks in a clean atmosphere. Middle of the road standard fare. Great views. Good parking. Room to move around. Clean bathroom.
