The Lookout Inn of New Orleans

As always, we had a great stay at the Lookout Inn! We had two adjoining suites, one for my wife and I and one for my 2 adult daughters. It was the perfect home base for exploring all great things in the Marigny/Bywater and beyond! Lots of room in the Mission Suite for us all to hang and plan. It got warm enough for the first few days to hit the pool and jacuzzi in the back, as well as eating breakfast PoBoys from Frady's. We will be back!

Im travelling alone and this is my first time in New Orleans. The room is fun, funky.clean and comfortable. The kind of place I like staying in. The neighborhood has plenty of places to eat. I love the art vibe and have bought a few pieces to bring home. Very walkable neighborhood. The hosts are very accommodating. I'd recommend staying here.

Had a wonderful stay at The Lookout Inn in the Bywater during Thanksgiving week. The Mardi Gras suite is festive, spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The beautifully landscaped grounds include a small pool, hot tub, cabana, and plenty of seating. Check in and out was easy and Kelly, the host, is on-sight if needed. I look forward to re-visiting The Lookout.

This is a great place to stay, our favorite in New Orleans. It's pretty, clean, comfortable and relaxing, a little quirky (in a good way; you shouldn't visit New Orleans if you don't appreciate eccentricity!). Bywater is an interesting neighborhood at some remove from the touristy areas.

I loved staying at the Lookout. They have themed rooms. My room was fun and clean. The house is located in Bywater. Bywater has wonderful artistic shops and wonderful places to eat. Some of them were only a few blocks away. There is a 🐓 rooster in the neighborhood I referred to as my alarm clock. I took the bus to go to the French quarter which was easy to access.
