The Lucerne Lunch Box

We ate here a few days ago and were so pleased with our experience! We were down visiting the desert from Oregon and found ourselves in Lucerne Valley at lunchtime. Lucky us. First off all, the staff couldn't have been more friendly and hospitable. The selection of menu items was impressive. And everything we ordered came quickly and so fresh! Those fried artichokes were MY FAVORITE! (Still thinking about them...) My veggie burger was incredibly delicious while the feral fries were also a hit at the table! And don't even get me started on those onion rings! 🤯 We ordered an assortment of sauces to accompany all the things and they were all great, but the burger sauce was everyone's favorite at the table. Tried out yesterday: Sunday 7/27. We fully expected to wait a long time because the car ahead of us took like 5 minutes to order. We ordered and drove forward and the car ahead got their order right away. Then we got ours right away. And they gave our dog a bone too. We paid $20.20 for 2 large Dr Peppers, a cheeseburger and regular fry. My husband loved the burger! The pickles were big and the patty was like a “smash burger” style. Now, normally I hate crinkle fries. But these fries were perfectly crunchy on the outside and fresh on the inside. Overall: Very Good! Quick service, value on point and quality perfect.

Was our 1st time stopping here... ordered burgers and fries/onion rings! Delicious btw.. I asked for extra extra pickles for my pregnant daughter... and that's what she got.. but i thought it was very sweet/ thoughtfull what they wrote on her burger wrapper!

This place is AMAZING! We pass it on our way up to Big Bear and the food is just phenomenal. We order inside and are able to use one of the outdoor picnic tables to have lunch and let our dog out of the car. There’s also a drive thru if you’ve gotta eat on the go. Atmosphere is fun and casual and the staff is so friendly. Bacon jam on the Pub Burger is 10/10 and everyone loves a crispy yet fluffy French fry and this place NAILED IT!

This place is BOMB, we go to big bear a few times an and alway see this place opened and closed by other owners, we decided to stop in today as this is the first time it actually looked pretty nice. I was surprised by how good the burgers and fries and onion rings are, their ranch is also great. Everything we had was really good, and I hope this place gets some more attention and can stay open this time, the food taste great!! We will for sure be stopping in when passing by from now on. I only posted the fries as it was the first thing we took a picture of before digging in so we forgot to take pictures of the rest while enjoying it. Staff was also extremely nice!
