The Lucky Cupcake

I had a strawberry shortcake from here for my birthday and it was the BEST I’ve ever tasted but I bought my boyfriend’s favorite cake, a carrot cake and neither of us were impressed. I was disappointed. It was beautifully decorated but the icing on the outside was very thick and very sweet. The cake itself wasn’t bad but both of us left a lot of the icing on the plate. I would definitely recommend the strawberry shortcake in season but wouldn’t spend the money to buy another carrot cake. The strawberry shortcake overall wasn’t too sweet at all. It was perfect. I also have to say the staff was very friendly and helpful!

We've been coming here for years because it's our favorite break spot in the village! But, it wasn't until they saved the day for our daughter's "Sweet 16" that we truly fell in love with them! When no one else could create the design she wanted (or even understand it), these artists used a picture from our phone and absolutely crushed her special cake design!!!! We are so grateful and love them all even more now!

Always love stopping at Lucky Cupcake, everything is delicious! The Lucky Cupcake did the wedding cake and desserts for my daughters wedding and we could not be happier. They delivered to a local venue on wedding morning during Apple Fest weekend, and if you know -you KNOW, its a feat unto itself. All the desserts were awesome, we got minis and they were fabulous and beautiful. The wedding cake was pumpkin cheesecake and it was a huge hit and so beautifully done. Even a last minute gluten free option was thrown in at a last minute request and they rolled with it despite the frenzy of preparing for a crazy weekend. Thank you Joanne and team for making it happen, we couldn't be more pleased!

We only got 4 cupcakes yesterday and ate one so far, but WOW, that was good. We got the Almond Hi hat. The cream inside was delicious, and so perfectly light. We also got hot chocolate that wasn't that great, they can add syrups to it for flavor, but it wasnt thoroughly mixed and I got some chunks at the bottom. Doesn't dim my review of the place though, come here for dessert after you're done roaming the village.

It’s a little disheartening to see all the negative reviews. I currently live out of state but when I’m in the area visiting family, I always make a point of coming here for their dairy free / vegan items. My favorites are the carrot cake cupcake (NOT cream cheese icing) and the stuffed Oreo, so don’t steal them all when you go! The staff is super friendly. Yes, it will sometimes be busy and the line will be long, but give them some grace - enjoy scoping out all the merch and goodies or have a conversation with someone as they work to serve everyone. It’s insanely busy during the event days, so be in a good headspace before you go. The food items are made that morning and kept in glass fridges (clearly labeled with what each is) for viewing purposes and to keep them fresh, so yes, they wil
