The Melt - Del Mar Highlands

I've been going to The Melt in Del Mar Highlands since it opened and I love it. I have only tried a few different combinations but I can honestly recommend it. The menu is easy enough to figure out, as is the kiosk-ordering system. The customer service is great and the team is very friendly. Funny enough, my favorite part is that the bathrooms are always so clean. The Ginger Ale is a real kick in the throat (in a good way) and the pickles are great. I usually go for the Chicken Swiss & Shroom burger but I tried something new this time and it was pretty good. I tried the Classic Crispy Chicken sandwich and the pickle-jalapeno mix really hit the spot. My only negative is that the chicken was so thick (but cooked well) which is not a bad thing for most people but I didn't love that.

I’m not even usually a burger/sandwich person but I really recommend the melt to anyone. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and my friend ordered the garlic Parmesan fries plus vanilla shake. I was surprised how juicy the chicken was, and the sauce added perfect amount of flavor without being overpowering. I was worried that it might be too greasy but I really enjoyed the sandwich! The fries and shake were fire too. And the vibe is perfect to chat with friends. I will definitely be coming here again!!

This place was really good. You can sub any menu items with a plant-based patty. There is good seating indoors and outdoors. Service is fast and the food is customizable. You can get burgers too. I had a patty melt, it was good. I can't have cheese but it was still good.

For the cost compared to other similar burger places such as shake shack, it is well worth it. We got the spicy friend chicken burger and a double spicy burger. The burgers are huge! The staff were friendly and efficient. Place is very clean as well! Will come back!

Had an excellent experience at The Melt thanks to Ani! She provided outstanding customer service — friendly, attentive, and very professional from start to finish. We ordered the Swiss & Shroom, Mac Daddy, garlic parmesan fries, and a Cookies & Cream shake, and everything was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. The burgers were flavorful, the fries were perfectly seasoned, and the shake was amazing. Ani made sure our order was accurate and checked in at the perfect times, making our dining experience smooth and enjoyable.
