The Mill at Seventh

Birthday dinner with my daughter and we very much enjoyed our meals. I had the balsamic glazed chicken and it was great. The Champagne cake was the perfect dessert to end our night

Outstanding burger. The brioche was crispy on the outside. The salad was made with fresh greens, real grated parmesan. The dressing on the side was delicious. Even the water was excellent. Did I mention the cheesecake? Ask for Beth. She's special.

Pleasantly surprised! Decided to try The Mill for my daughter's birthday after looking at the menu. We always thought it was a wine bar with snacks. I have three teenagers so never thought to try it. It was a Monday night and the place was very quiet. Our waitress was friendly and offered to seat us outside. We sat on their cute back patio and had it to ourselves. They also have a front patio but it was next to the road. The waitress promptly brought us water and answered all our questions. First up was the charcuterie board. It was a nice selection and perfect for the four of us to snack on. Two of us ordered paninis, the Turkey Pesto, and the Orchard Valley. The food was really good, I got pasta salad, which was beautiful, flavorful, and delicious. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the veggies were nice and crisp. We also got the Maui Flatbread pizza. It was super good, and the coconut cheese was 🤌 The service got 1 star, we were sitting outside, the waitress was not even slightly attentive, and the wait for anything was pretty excessive. The food came out staggered. Some people had their meal for 10 minutes before others arrived, which was a bit awkward. Atmosphere is scored neutral because we ate outside, the atmosphere inside I can't really comment on.

I came here for a rehearsal dinner a few months ago and had the strangest experience. The bride and groom said the Mill was enthusiastic when booking months earlier. However, during the event, the owner seemed downright annoyed by everyone, it felt like we were walking on egg shells the whole time. This made clear by lots of eye rolls and huffs at simple requests. (Example: I’m sorry, I asked for a sauv blanc, but this is a red). I would understand if the behavior came from an employee who was annoyed to be working the holiday weekend, but this was the owner! I could also understand if we were a rowdy group of intoxicated young people, but that was also not the case. I could even understand if this behavior was a one-off “bad moment” but this was consistent throughout the entire night wit
