We arrived to a near empty restaurant for breakfast at sharp 9:01, waited over 1.5 hour to get very mediocre, tasteless food. Fresh fruits were rotten. Asked for extra toasted bread and bread was not even toasted. We ordered 2 crepes and they made one and made it into 2 pieces. Omelette was ok. Chocolate croissant was bad. Great location But terrible service, menu sounds promising but highly disappointing. Need to work on portions. Not worth the money and wait. Would NOT go back for breakfast.

Having breakfast before hiking in wet snow! Reviews are good and we were expecting the same food experience. The avocado toast had avocado spread (not avocado slices, as one would expect). When we complained our server brought out more avocado spread in a dish and charge us extra $2.50. I ordered regular stack pancakes. They were half-cooked in the middle and the mixed berries were thin sliced frozen berries mixed in with the dough. Not worth the extra $2 we had to pay for. A small bottle of maple syrup is extra $2.50. My wife ordered a 3 flavor of the Mimosa sampler. I feel $4/small glass is too pricey. The drinks selection on the menu does not say how much they are. The service is great with amazing staff. Not so for the food quality. Ambience outside is picturesque with light snow

Disappointing birthday brunch. We were seated fast, but service stalled from there. The food took 45 minutes and was a letdown—both the chicken and waffles and the stuffed French toast were bone-dry and tough. Our waitress was nice, but vanished for long stretches, leaving us waiting another 15 minutes just to pay. We won't be returning.

We arrived to a near empty restaurant for brunch, waited over 1.5 hour to get very mediocre, tasteless food. By the time our food came out, coffee was all cold. Had to ask whoever would come by to ask about the food but felt our table was ignored the whole time. Belgian waffle was very dry. You get 1 waffle and a piece of butter. Extra for fruit which consisted of dried strawberries and 8 blueberries…then I had to wait more to ask for “normal” syrup because I didn’t order the “pure maple syrup” for $2.50 extra. Great location and outside seating. But terrible service, menu sounds promising but highly disappointing. Need to work on portions. Not worth the money and wait. Would NOT go back.

The Morning Toast at Barley Creek We had a terrible experience from the moment we arrived at the restaurant for breakfast. The host at the receiving area seemed tipsy and ignored our greeting. We waited for 20 minutes before a waitress took our order. Only one table with two people was being served (around 10:15 am), and a different waiter in charge walked slowly (4x he walked by) and never checked if we had ordered. A waitress brought our coffee and drinks quickly, but we finished them in 40 minutes and still had not received our food. We decided to request our order to go since we had a booking to attend. However, when we got to the parking lot, we realized that no utensils were included, so I asked my son to go back and get them. They gave us one fork, two spoons (which we didn't need)
