The Naked Lemon

I've tried to visit this bakery 3 times before, always on a Monday based on our Sunday/Monday travel schedule, but they are closed on Mondays, so I was thrilled to get in around lunchtime on a Thursday. Much to my disappointment, they were sold out of most everything, but I did manage to snag a couple of lemon macarons, peanut butter cookies and a chocolate chip cookie. The cookies were good, but I could wax poetic over the lemon macarons. It is my new favorite sweet of all time - the outer shells shatters softly and expose tender, lightly lemony and chewyunderbelly. (this is a 2.5-3 inch diameter sandwich cookie). The filling is a delectable lemon curd, with a bright, not-too-tart taste (on a Goldilocks scale, just right). I'm going to look into having them shipped to me . . . Simply AMA

We got the valentines Day Macaron special and tried all 5 flavors and they were all exquisite. Huge, chewy, full of wonderful filling. We debated a long time as to which flavor was our favorite and we couldn't pick! We also got 8 cupcakes to celebrate a birthday tomorrow and I can't wait to eat them all!

What a charming little bakery! The shop itself is quite small—only about five people can fit comfortably—but the cozy atmosphere adds to its charm. The customer service was great, and the friendly cashier made some great recommendations. We tried the macarons and carrot cake, and both were absolutely delicious! I’ll definitely be back for more sweet treats.

I recently moved into the Astor Hotel on January 2024 and discovered this small business front located attached to the Astor Building. As soon as I entered the Naked Lemon, I was greeted which was a warm welcome for me😃. I couldn't believe my eyes when I laid my taste buds on their wonderful home made pastries made in front of you. The coffee they serve is fresh and delicious. I appreciate their fresh ingredients the Naked Lemon uses when baking their cinnamon bread pastry which is my favorite. You need to stop by this shop for your sweet tooth dreams. While your in there, don't forget to indulge into their homemade Pumpkin Cheesecake which are out of this world!! Thank you Naked Lemon. I was BLOWN AWAY!! Amazing!! Today I tried the lemon cheesecake and it is hands down the best cheesecake me and my husband have ever had! I was hesitant…. Because… I don’t like lemon…. But now I can’t say that…. Not when I now have a new addiction instead. Amazing texture, amazing flavor, absolutely amazing baker, thank you!!!!
