The Northside Pub

We rented the private party room for our son's rehearsal dinner. Before the dinner my son and I went to the pub to try the pizza and wings - they were delicious (and he had the gluten free pizza which was great). Our experience with the party was fantastic. We had 45 guests, did the pizza and pasta combination dinner with salad, wings and veggie tray for appetizers and had some bottles of wine & pitchers of beer as well as soft-drinks for beverages. The food was very good, our host Joy was amazing (she was always "right there" when we needed something and took care of it immediately), and the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for with a casual atmosphere that everyone could mingle in. My fiancé, his family, and I came here to eat and were treated horribly from start to finish. Our waitress was rude, dismissive, and acted like we were an inconvenience just for being there. When my fiancé politely asked to speak to a manager, we were told there wasn’t one. Instead, the owner came out — and somehow managed to be even worse. He spoke to us disrespectfully, took zero accountability, and treated us just as poorly as the waitress did. No apology, no attempt to fix the situation, just pure attitude. Customer service here is nonexistent. If this is how the staff and the owner treat paying customers, I can’t imagine why anyone would choose to come back. Highly, highly do NOT recommend.

Extraordinary place that I have been going to since I was a young child with my grandfather after salmon fishing in Lake Michigan. This place is a Muskegon classic and a place that will always be held in my heart. Great food, great drinks, great people, amazing service.

The Grand Finale pizza is the absolute best. We go there to celebrate birthdays. They seat the nine of us. Service is always great!

The food was good, went with the family. 7 of us in total and there wasn't a wait to sit down and eat. We got a pizza, a few sandwiches, and chicken tenders. All of it was good.
