The Nut House - Ice Cream - Bakery - Coffee

The ice cream was good but overpriced for the amount that they give you. There were a lot of options for ice cream flavors. I got 2 scoops: cherry chip + brown butter, and a chocolate chip cookie. The staff were friendly and attentive.

This is a very interesting store. Very old fashioned interior but classic. Feel like back to the old days childhood! I had the cookie&cream ice cream, tastes very good!

Ice cream flavors are unique, tasty, amazing. Consistency is perfectly thick. Atmosphere is old school and on point. I had Cardamom, Lemongrass Ginger, and Fleur de Olive Oil. Cons: they only allow two tastes but don’t tell you ahead of time. They charge more for credit cards but the surcharge is on a tiny sign.

I loved their ice cream! What an interesting place to get some snacks haha. If I ever visit Cape Cod again, I’d definitely buy more of their nuts and ice cream.

Would NOT recommend The Nuthouse. The old lady working there, a common complaint seeing the rest of these reviews, was extremely rude and unwelcoming. She refused to let us taste the flavors we were interested in and then shamed us when we didn’t like or buy the ice cream. Instead of being helpful, she made the whole experience uncomfortable. Provincetown has plenty of other places with better tasting treats and friendlier service—this is one I’d skip.
