The Ocean City Free Public Library

The Ocean City Library is an absolute gem! They have an incredible selection of audiobooks, regular books, and even games—there’s truly something for everyone. The staff is always so nice and friendly, making every visit a pleasure. I also love that the Ocean City Arts Center is located right above the library. The art studio is such a wonderful space, and taking a pottery class there has become my favorite weekly activity. Between the library and the arts center, this building is a hub for creativity, learning, and fun!

Okay, this place is more than just a public library. There's a fitness center with a pool, Museum, to name a few, overall excellent community centers with friendly staff. also, they have lots of events posted up

Beautiful library! Lovely and very helpful staff. Thanks for your commitment to help our little ones. And please don’t support “pride” we know what is all about and you don’t have to go with what is trendy. Grooming should not be allowed. Keep our children safe.

This is a truly stellar library. The staff at the children’s and circulation desks are absolutely phenomenal! I’ve been to plenty of libraries and while most are wonderful, the staff at the OCNJ library were the most helpful, courteous and really genuinely excited to provide help and information. When I got my card I was told about all kinds of tips on programs and a lot of other things the library provides, such as free and/or discounted passes to a lot of places (like the Cape May Lighthouse which we planning on going to the next day!) I was genuinely pumped to explore thanks to these kind people!

This is the coolest library we have ever been to and we have been to a LOT of library’s! My 3 year old absolutely loved the Cape May Zoo event. He kept saying maybe there will be an alligator and I had to tell him there probably won’t be an alligator. Wouldn’t you know they pulled out a baby alligator and my son kept saying this was the best day ever! Thank you so much to all who coordinated such a fun event!
