We came on a night that happened to fall on the same night as a high school dance. The restaurant was packed. None the less, we finally got a table for 2! Philippe was our server! He was very personable and couthy! Although the restaurant was packed, he didn’t rush through us ordering; he treated us as people, not just another set of customers! He got the food to us as fast as possible! (Delicious by the way!!!!) And while we were finishing up, we heard some angry customers, he dealt with them kindly, and they loudly left angrily pronouncing they will write a yelp review! That’s when we realized they had been closed for 10 minutes, yet they still didn’t rush us out or change their hospitality in any way. Beautiful, clean restaurant with kind workers! Keep it up!
Riley was awesome! Thanks for the great service!! The Spaghetti with Mizithra Cheese and Browned Butter? Absolute perfection. That rich, nutty browned butter coats every strand of spaghetti, then you get those salty, crumbly bits of Mizithra cheese (that famous Greek cheese they’ve been using forever in their family recipe) melting in—it’s so comforting, flavorful, and downright addictive. We couldn’t stop raving about it between bites. The restaurant itself is beautiful—warm, nostalgic atmosphere with all those unique touches that make it feel special. Every dish we tried was delicious, portions were generous, and the bread, soup/salad combo was on point too. By the end, we were shamelessly scraping our plates clean to get every last drop of that heavenly sauce—no shame! 10/10 all around
Atmosphere was great. It is a old train station on the historic preservation list. The servers were excellent, hard working and really nice. The food was good, but not great. I had the chicken marsala. The sauce was really good. Chicken not as tender as it could be. I had the broccoli instead of pasta with mizithra and brown butter. The broccoli was cooked nicely, not mushy with a tiny bit of crisp. The brown butter sauce and mizithra were lacking. I would've tossed the broccoli in the brown butter and put more mizithra on it. I think thet just drizzled the butter on top as none was on my plate.
I’ve eaten at Spaghetti Factories my entire life and always been blown away by the food, service, and atmosphere. Unfortunately, I’ve tried 3 dishes at this location and 1 app and while all were edible, none were desirable. White clam sauce tasted like clam chowder from a can, meatball panini had no flavor, chicken in the chicken parm was overcooked, and the garlic bread app was not crispy, was cold, lacked flavor, and the bread was oddly dense. The minestrone soup, however l, was spot on! Presently, the quality and flavors are not worth the $ in my opinion. I hope the kitchen is able to find their groove and things improve for this location.
Really neat place with that historical old-timey flair. We walked in and just sat in the bar. The decor has a warm and interesting yesteryear ambience with stained glass, wood, fixtures, and antique radiators and wood work. The food can be pretty good, but it depends on what you order. Awhile back I got the chicken Marsala and would absolutely not recommend it. But when I get my usual, Manager’s Special… never fails when I get the mixture cheese and brown butter and the mushroom sauce (marinara sauce with cooked mushrooms on top). I usually get the hearty portion too. I enjoy the Italian cream sodas also. The outdoor dining in good weather is a pleasure and my big dog is welcome and sometimes recognized out there. It’s nice that dessert is included. The warm bread and butter is always ni
