The Original Dusty's Dairy Bar

If you have a nut intolerance or allergy, avoid this place at all costs! Your only options will be vanilla, chocolate, or twist soft serve. They will not sanitize their scoopers for hard ice cream if you tell them you have an allergen. If I wanted generic soft serve, I would’ve went somewhere else. I was looking forward to a local place while on vacation. They didn’t even give me the waffle cone I asked for. Just soft serve in a bowl. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

Very bad customer service. The soft serve machine was broken and I was handed a melted ice cream cone that spilled all over my arm and clothing as they gave it to me. They admitted the machine hadn't been working. I waited a long time to speak to the manager who refused to refund my $4. They are falsely selling a product they don't really have. They should take soft serve off the menu instead of taking money for something they can't provide.

Honestly went down hill a lot. This place used to have fun rides with a window to get ice cream right by them. Now, every ride has been removed, and the ice cream got moved so you have to walk further up. They were also selling no ice cream soft serves when we went. Was glad to see that the arcade along with the carousel was still there though. I honestly like the place across the street better which has go karting, miniature golf, bungee jumping, etc. Still a good place to get ice cream, but it used to be so much more fun.

I was disappointed that when I went here last that they did not accept Apple pay, like it said on their website. Please update your information. People don't normally carry cash when they're at the beach. Other that the ice cream is very good and they give generous portions.

I dare you to try the Coconut Almond Bar at Dusty's. You will not be disappointed!
