The Original Pizza Sam

Yummy yummy! This was my first time coming here and I do not regret it. I had the 2 pepperoni slice lunch special with a can of soda, it was a good price of $7 and tasty. I also had a cannoli, that was tasty as well. I’ve been in VA for almost 9 years and haven’t found a great NY style pizza spot, finally my search is over. I will definitely return. The staff are nice and welcoming. The set up reminds me of a NY pizza shop, I actually sat there and ate alone. It was a good vibe. My rating is 10/10. Enjoy!

OMG! Driving through Virginia and must have taken a wrong turn into Jackson Heights, Queens, New York! Ordered a couple slices of plain cheese pizza, just fold and enjoy. Just like home. A large variety of specialty pizzas are available and all is delicious. Fuggetaboutit!

As a pizza snob and a frequent business traveler, I have had the opportunity to have pizza in NY, MA, CT etc. I also can tell you everybody advertises New York style pizza. Very few actually deliver on that promise. Traveling through Virginia, Maryland, etc. it is very difficult to find good pizza. This pizza is very good and very close to eating pizza in Long Island. While it may be considered average in NY, for VA this pizza is a standout. At seven dollars for two slices and a can of soda for a lunch special the prices are ridiculously cheap. A homerun. As a side note being from Philadelphia, I did detect a NY personality from the people behind the counter. That is something you can’t fake.

Stopped in for lunch with my family and the experience did not disappoint. First time coming, but we will return whenever we're in the area. The pizza was wonderful - great rigidity to the crust without being overcooked. Toppings were plentiful and the marinara may be one of the best I've had locally. It was bright without being acidic and lovely blend of herbs you can smell and taste. The staff was very kind and accommodating, tables were clean and prices reasonable - really just can't say enough good, it was a very nice surprise since we went without any recommendations from others. The only note I would make to others is that the parking lot isn't great. Google maps routed me through the Atkinson entrance (from Warwick) but that requires you to pass the Mexican place beside it in a n

This pizza is amazing and I love pizza. I thought it was a little expensive on DoorDash compared to the national pizza chains but I took a chance. The best damn pizza in the 757. It was so much I couldn’t throw it away! I froze the extra slices and pop them in the air fryer on 4 mins. It still taste delicious. Screw Digiorno.
