The Original Rich's Ice Cream

Ice Cream Cake Hero! I didn't realize they were closed on New Year's Eve and day and we were having a birthday party for my son. He requested an ice cream cake in his favorite flavor. I saw online it said that you need 48hrs notice for custom cakes. Unfortunately I wouldn't have made it. On New Year's Eve I reached out through Facebook messenger and the owner responded they were away but they will try to get someone in to have it ready for the 2nd. Well, she pulled through! My son was so happy and so were our guests. They said it was delicious and loved that it had the option of 2 flavors. Thank you so much for saving the day! (This was a small sheet cake.) Highly recommend!

What a sweet ending to our day at the shore on October 9, 2024 to stop at Rich’s for ice cream. So many flavors (24) to choose from that are made right on location. Nutella is my new favorite flavor. There are also soft ice cream choices and a variety of toppings. Portions are very generous. This was our first visit to Rich’s but won’t be our last.

Went here yesterday for the first time to try the ice cream and it was great! There were a lot of people inside when we got there, but their system of taking a number as well as the multiple employees made the line move quickly. They offered 28 ice cream flavors to choose from. Their prices were extremely cheap for the amount of ice cream they give you! I ordered a small which was 2 scoops and it was huge. I got mint chocolate cookie and peanut butter Oreo. Both of the flavors were delicious!

I ordered my husband’s ice cream cake there for the first time this summer after many years of rotating to different ice cream cake shops over the years. This was hands-down, the best one we’ve ever had! He was giddy with how much candy they put on and inside the cake. We are so impressed with the price, toppings and quality. Guests loved it too. He told me this is the only ice cream cake he wants from now on!

The visit was totally underwhelming. They were totally understaffed for a Saturday. The flurry was way over priced for what we were given. The line flow was organized and made the employees irritable with customers and weren’t very nice during the entire option. I don’t think any of them were smiling. The employees wanted us through and out. All the tables were dirty. I would find somewhere else and keep driving to the next place.
