The Original Steaks and Hoagies - Medina

Let me just say…this place does not mess around with their hoagies. The service is so welcoming and friendly. We originally ordered our meal to-go, and it was packed with everything needed like utensils and napkins, but when we decided to eat in, the chef, George, offered an extra fountain drink and he even brought us a free fried cheesecake (which was divine). He told us that this Medina location is under new ownership now and it shows! Clean and well kept, friendly, and fast service.

Steak burgers was mid. The cheesy loaded tots however, were phenomenal. Loaded fries were okay. The chicken cordon bleu sandwich was good however it needed like mayonnaise or something to top it off. Same thing with the steak sandwich. I just needed a little bit extra. Some kind of sauce on it. Otherwise they were kind of plain tasting.

Food was amazing today for lunch, had The chicken Parmesan sandwich with fresh hand cut fries and their homemade ranch dressing doesn’t get better than that! George made everything perfectly!

I ate at Original Steak and Hoagie on 2/1/26. The owner, Patel was such a nice man! Very friendly to all of the customers in the store. The food was delicious and made fresh. Patel made sure to check on everyone, asking if they were enjoying their meals or needed anything. I am not from the area, but would definitely stop back in if I was in the area again! I would definitely recommend giving this place a try, and tell Patel I sent you! 😉

I had placed an online order and I go to pick it up ,Pate internduce himself as the new owner . He welcome me and went over my order to make sure it was correct. Pate is a very friendly person and makes you feel comfortable inside his restaurant. I ordered an original cheesesteak and fries . It was so delicious. I am differently going back ,with relatives next time !!
