We had the 3 meat plate with turkey, brisket and pulled pork. 3 sides - potato salad, cole slaw, and beans. The meat was tender and delicious, but the turkey was a little dry but the sauce made up for that. The sides were delicious. The Cole slaw had small bits of apple and raisins which I could do without but none the less it was great.

The brisket was moist and smoky. The pork ribs had a bit of a dirty smoke taste. The coleslaw slaw had apple and raisins and was delicious! Mac and cheese was ok. My boys loved their brisket burgers. If they had brewed tea over the powdered kind I think it would be a more complete bbq experience. Overall, I'd go back!!

This place never disappoints. The food is always good and delicious. The staff is always courteous and polite. This place is way better then Salt Lick. By far.

Decent BBQ and reasonable prices - the brisket was a tad dry, but I still ate every bite. I did wish they had an option for spicy BBQ sauce, but I mixed my own with Tabasco so that worked. The absolute best thing on the menu is the coleslaw - we ordered a large to go. Whatever you do - get the slaw!

My wife and I are full time travelers wintering in the LRGV. We drove by here recently and stopped to eat but they had closed early. Luckily we stopped again and got there early on a Thursday, and they were pretty crowded already. We put in our order, and found a table. Food came out pretty quickly. I got the fish 'n shrimp with mac 'n cheese and rice 'n beans. My wife got the brisket plate with mac 'n cheese and sweet potato fries, and we got an order of onion rings to share (we had skipped lunch). Everything was very fresh, hot and delicious. We're glad we stopped back here, and hope we get a chance to eat here again before we leave.
