The Oven's Slice

The Oven's Slice is a new pizzeria that's launched in the East Village. a good neighborhood pizzeria serving up a variety of pizza pies. there's a good amount of seating for solos or groups. the interior is really clean, well maintained, and currently has spooky season vibes for Halloween, but otherwise it has a modernish with a warm pizza place decor. the counter displays at least 8-10 different types of pies. been here twice and so far tried 3 NYC-style plain cheese slices and a Marghertita slice. prefer plain slices, not a huge toppings fan--pizza purist, I am..anyhow, the plain cheese slice is a very thin crust slice with a firm crispy crust with give, so there is some flop which is why it should be folded and eaten. they don't skimp on the mozzarella cheese as it blankets the slice.

Ran in to get a quick slice and ended up enjoying so much we HAD to get another. Started with the pepperoni then tried the Brooklyn, as recommended, both were amazing with the perfect crust and ratio of toppings. Can’t wait to go back!

This pizza is absolutely incredible! After visiting several times, I can confidently say they’ve perfected the Sicilian style —something other places in the area just can’t match. The crust is perfectly fluffy yet crisp, and the sauce is rich and flavorful. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Hands down the best pizza in the East Village, no contest. The crust is perfectly crisp yet chewy, the sauce is rich and flavorful, and the toppings are always fresh and generous. And I have to give a special shout-out to Bryan, the man is a legend. If you’re in the neighborhood, don’t even think twice. This is the spot.

Thank goodness I walked in here. Had a feeling that it was going to be amazing and it didn’t disappoint. The pizza was crunchy, flavorful and perfectly rationed for my hunger. Not to mention the cookie was delicious. Pricing super reasonable as well. Shouts out to the workers they’re really nice too. 10/10 for sure give it a try
