Service, perfect. Waitress and her patience, wonderful. Beautiful sunny day to have the Louisiana skillet meal with shrimp, yummy. Chatting with my cousin for 2hrs as we enjoyed the small amount of people who came in before and after us, the best. 10/10
This diner was close to my hotel and so we decided to try it. There is a huge parking lot, which is bigger than the actual diner. Most of the license plates on the vehicles were not from GA. The diner itself is run down. The booth I sat it almost fell apart when I sat on one side the bench raised itself and so I just shifted myself to the middle of the bench. The booth behind me has a hole in the padded part for the back. The counter is missing stools, which makes the flooring look like it’s had better days. The waitress was wonderful. She provided great service and the prices for the food were good. We had breakfast and it tasted good-I can’t complain about the food or the service.
Does look like your traditional diner, except that the stools had been removed from the bar. It also appeared to be a little rundown. That said, the cream cheese and tomato omelette I had was quite good, as was the biscuit and white gravy that my wife had. There was only one server there, but she was very nice and even showed my wife the website of the place where she bought her turquoise jewelry. The prices were very reasonable, the total for our meal was $16.99.
I had the aloha burger with a root beer float. Very delicious! Went ahead and got the banana split. Did not disappoint! The waiter was ever so kind to stop and let me get a pic of him bringing me my birthday dessert!! Thank you!!
I have passed this diner since moving to Savannah 5 years ago. Frankly it always struck me as sort of seedy. Furthermore there were never any cars in the lot. (Never a good sign.) Several months ago, maybe longer, it began to look a bit more “together”. Now, you need to understand that I’m from NJ. I know diners. My interest was piqued. I saw a sign that said it was under new ownership and management. I saw signs advertising specials. I had to try it. Sunday my husband and I drove over for breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised. We got one of the last spots in the lot. We were seated immediately. And it looked like a real diner - almost. It’s small and there are no table-side jukeboxes. BUT…they do have a couple TVs playing classic rock music videos. The cook provides a great percussion
