We came here for our anniversary dinner and it was phenomenal. Great vibe and interior, the service is top notch, and the food is great. We started with the shallot hummus (no picture but legit the best hummus I’ve had in my life - GET THIS). We also had the beef dumplings and they were amazing as well (pic included). For dinner we shared the latkes which were so much better than we expected (they were bite size but packed with flavor). We also got the skewers (one lamb and one salmon) which were good but probably the most underwhelming part of the meal. Highly recommend this place - based on the food itself and the extremely professional and attentive service, it’s well worth the money.

Excellent cozy and chick Mediterranean place in downtown. They have a valet which is convenient (though pricey). Everything we ordered from the starters to the mains were excellent - the Muhammara, Hummus, Falafel, and the succulent and lamb kebabs - all hit the spot. The mango lassi is unique and rich (different from the super sweet indian mango lassi) - i liked it. There were plenty of vegetarian options for some of the folks in our party

Only went for drinks so cant vouch for the food. Super aesthetically pleasing. Vibes were on point. Staff was friendly. Tons of seating. Just make sure to check your tab as we got extra charged for the drinks and I had to correct them but they quickly corrected it. Went in January, so stayed indoors but during spring and summer there’s really nice outdoor seating by the river available.

My foodie partner (my hubs) and I had a meeting downtown so decided to try a place on our list. We were in the mood for Mediterranean, and wanted to try something different! In the Proper Hotel is a lovely restaurant called The Peacock. Let me start by saying - this isn't a cheap meal, even for lunch! We chose to sit outside since it was a lovely day - and they gave us a table by the creek - with a lovely view! It was also shady where we sat, with a nice breeze - great ambiance! We decided to stick with appetizers. We ordered the grilled octopus, which was good, but we have had better elsewhere. We also got the fried shallot hummus with homemade pita bread - we felt there was a bit too much going on with the hummus flavor wise and texture wise. The Pita was good, not great. We ordered

Amazing place to eat and be with your loved ones! My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary, and our server, Laurel, was absolutely amazing!! She was so kind, helpful, and really brought the atmosphere together for us. Definitely will come here again and recommend!!
