The Pizza Shack

I’ve been a customer of Pizza Shack for over 15 years, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. I ordered the Carnivore pizza on Saturday and it had very little topping and cheese. The pizza was dry, the crust was hard, and overall it did not reflect the quality I’ve come to expect, especially for the price. I called to let them know about the issue and was told I would need to bring the pizza back for a remake on Monday. I understand policies, but as a longtime customer, I was hoping for a more customer-friendly solution. I’m sharing this feedback because Pizza Shack has always had a strong reputation, and I would like to see them return to the quality and service that made them one of the best in town. Unfortunately, this was not the best experience at Pizza Shack. The restaurant was quite warm due to a lack of air conditioning, and the drink machine was out of service. Rather than offering familiar Pepsi or Coke products, only Kroger brand sodas were available. There were two employees on site—one working in the back preparing pizzas, and the other spent most of the time seated at a table on his phone. Overall, the visit did not meet expectations.

Was my first time going here. Service was quick. Very friendly employees. The bathroom was clean and smelled nice. The restaurant was clean. The pizza had a little too much sauce for my liking but tasted great. It’s also kinda thin. Took them about 15-20 mins to get the pizza out to me which is reasonable because it was hot and fresh. Overall, good experience and food was good.

In the middle of July it was hotter inside than it was outside. This location has gone from best to worst of their locations. Pizza tasted like they took a tombstone pizza and added toppings to it. Pizza was also ready about 30 minutes past the time it said it would be ready.

Pizza was over cooked and tasted like card board......very disappointed will NOT go back. And it was blazing hot inside the restaurant!!!
