The Pizza Shoppe

Was in Rochester for a work trip. The pizza looked amazing so I did a drive by- however I did not partake. Instead they I snagged the Utica greens and chicken riggies . Yes I’m not in Utica but I love both of those dishes so I gave them a try. The Utica greens were top notch ! Plenty of prosciutto, cherry peppers and amazing parmy bread crumb . Def my favorite dish. The riggies were good . Sauce was thick and well seasoned. My only feedback was the pasta was a bit overcooked for my liking . Still solid and the portions are generous . Brought the rest home and enjoyed as left overs. Ps. The pizza came out while I was waiting for my food and omg . The woman at the counter was also polite and attentive.

One of Rochester's greatest hidden gems. They have world class Detroit style pizza (get the truffle oil; trust me) and the best eggplant parm sandwich in the world. I tell everybody about this place. Ever since they opened, they've been on point. Even after changing hands, the new owner kept everything perfectly consistent: That's not easy!

Lady at the counter was super nice and helpful. Food was super yummy and that Italian Assorted was fantastic. Bread was warm and has a little spice, but with a lot of flavor. Plus you can buy their pasta and sauce to have for other meals. Highly recommend.

I had a sloppy joe's slice and my wife had a classic cheese slice. It was our first time there and we will definitely be going back. The staff was very nice and polite.

Great Detroit style deep dish pizza. $10 lunch deal for a generous slice, fresh cookie, and fiz pop. The sloppy Joe pizza was very good! Cookies were better than Subway. A must visit in the area!
