The Playbook Sports Bar + Grill

This place was dead which I would normally enjoy but I think it's dead for a reason. Went for dinner, sat down and the band starts warming up, too loud to even hear the waitress. Not even music, sound check that went on for 10 straight min. Then the manager decides to have a staff meeting, yeah, just drop everything and have this idiot yakking at ALL the staff for 10-15 min. I didn't think this was real. Food mediocre at best, waitress was nice, not her fault the manager is self absorbed. They don't serve coke either, wanted a rum and coke, who the hell wants a rum and Pepsi?? They are not the same.

I’ve been debating whether to write this, because honestly, I can’t believe customers are still being treated this way. I visited Playbook last Wednesday for Latin Night. Let me start with the positive: the band was AMAZING. The live music was the highlight of the entire night, and if I thought I wouldn’t walk away disappointed again, I’d return just for them. Now for the part that truly needs attention. Our server, Ethiopia, took 25 minutes to bring our very first drink order. My party and I were patient—we know people are overworked and short-staffed these days. Still, she never once checked in or updated us. We had to request water for my husband three separate times. Because we were enjoying the band, we ordered another round. That second order took 35 minutes and 42 seconds to arri

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. You should definitely try the Carne Asada tacos, they are some of the best I’ve ever had. The drinks are delicious and special events are absolutely wonderful. The team and the staff are great. Definitely try game day eats and The chef takes time to create wonderful meals!

It was a great place in the resort I was staying in. Loved the cheesesteak and they don't have chili cheese fries but my waiter made it for me anyways and they were great.

I've been here no less than 5 times, and every single time there's a service issue. Currently sitting here right now and had to wait 45 minutes for a simple cocktail, with little communication from the server about what was happening. It's taken essentially two hours to get two drinks. Why is the service consistently slow and terrible?
