This is old school small town dive bar with great people.
Very laid back atmosphere, always friendly (staff and other customers). Favorite place to have a drink, visit, play some pool, listen to good music with good company. Love The Ponderosa!!
If your looking for a fun dive bar, this place is iconic
Weekends they close at 1am. Good old jukebox, beer joint only, set ups, etc. Mama Gail and Robert are the owners and very sweet. Get your liquor before Sunday as liquor stores are not open on Sunday. Makes you feel like you're at home. Clean bathrooms, two pool tables, domino's on deck if you want to play. Go here and keep this place alive.
Don't expect a posh city scene. But it's a cozy little local bar. Friendly staff can point you in the right direction of a good steak or a fun small town event. Cash only! Have a chat with my friend Chuck, he's a nice fella.
