The Post Pizza

This is great pizza place for take out, we had takeout for Super Bowl Sunday, as did many people!! We thought it was a bit too loud inside (minus the 1 star for atmosphere). But they do have huge 4 screen TV on one side which is great for watching sports!! Their pizza has perfect crunch on the edges and has a good thickness and their pizza actually has great cheese pulls!! We got the pepperoni and pineapples, and also added the bbq wings, which were great with the ranch dipping sauce. I noticed their pineapples were freshly cut, and not from a can, what a difference that makes!! The staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this Post pizza, formerly Lamppost pizza. 10.27.2025 Jerry & his Staff are the heart & soul of The POST Pizza. This IS the best tasting PIZZA in all of S. CA . right here in our hometown of EL MONTE, CA - That Simple. The pepperoni is so delicious and they certainly put a plentiful amount on each pie including the sausage which is our family favorite. The spaghetti, mozzarella sticks and BBQ chicken wings are delectable and I must mention the Pizza Crust is like eating a fresh warm loaf of bread. An Outstanding pub atmosphere with plenty of TV's, KRLA OLDIES on the jukebox & even comedy shows too. This restaurant is a firm 2 Thumbs Up and a 10 Star recommendation ! Was here to pick up my order, But they just kept walking back and forth Nobody wanted to Greet me. my order was right there getting colder and colder . Als I’m diabetic I called ahead of time so tha I can get my order seamlessly. Nobody was in the Sit down area itself expect for 1 person at the bar and maybe 1 table That was just 2 people… my second time trying to Get their pizza and try it ! Ridiculous! being coming here for years ... more like decades, always good quality food fresh and tasty pizza. Many other good options on the menu. always busy on the weekends, plan accordingly or order ahead.
