The Pour House

Visited October 23rd..see receipt as always. What a fun place to eat in Chico! I have been wanting to go here and I am so glad I did! They have indoor and outdoor seating. Huge round bar outside with a huge patio atmosphere. My friend and I got there when they opened ( 11 am) and decided to sit inside in a booth since it was still just alittle cool outside. We ordered a expresso martini and an Irish coffee ( Jamison whiskey with coffee and whip cream). The martini was light and cold with coffee beans floating on top. My friend enjoyed the coffee drink. We ordered the ahi tuna tostada and Waglu burger with garlic parm fries. OMG..both delicious ! They were generous on the ahi tuna and the burger ( smash burger) was huge and juicy ! I just came back from lunch at Pour House, with friends and absolutely loved this place. The brown rice was just right, paired with sauté veggies it complemented the grilled chicken really well, but the chef forgot to add my sauce on the rice. Here’s a picture of my bowl, so I just had dry rice & chicken. I loved their ambience, they have seating both in and out. We got our table right away, no wait time. Hannah was waiting on our table, she was very thoughtful. I went back and got a hot chicken tender sandwich, it was so good. I loved every bite if my meal, and would get it again. Loved the service Tanya provided, she was very thoughtful!! My friends had their usual burgers, Brisket and Rancher. I’ll add more pictures after i comeback and try them. Good food. Maybe our outdoor server didn't realize that just because we were talking constantly that we were in a bit of a hurry to get back to the hospital to see our dying mother in law...! Ten minutes to come get drink order... then It took a bit too long once telling them I haven't looked at the whole menu yet, took about 20 min to come back to take the order. Then that took normal amount of time, but getting a to go box and pay... another 15,20 min.

First time experience was good. No wait. Atmosphere was good. Good food. Good service. Will definitely come back. BRISKET BURGER: Half-pound burger topped with slices of smoked brisket, fried onion strings, smoked gouda, arugula, jalapeño-avocado citronette and Carolina-style BBQ sauce

I am not a big girl ( 135 pounds) and could hardly get my mouth around the first bite..lol! Leftovers of course! Johnnie the bartender/server gave us excellent customer service! He was always checking in even though this place gets very busy quickly! What an asset to this restaurant ! Awesome experience in a very fun environment!
