We stopped by The Protein Place in Citrus Heights tonight and I’m so glad we did. My son had dental work and couldn’t chew anything, so we were looking for something easy — and this spot was perfect. Our favorite smoothie place! Best service always! We just tried the chocolate covered strawberries protein smoothie and the butter finger one! Sooo good! They let us try the donuts and omg...They're amazing! Love this place! Highly recommend! We always go after a dentist appointment for a delicious drinkable meal!

Located in a commercial complex, the place has ample parking and located conveniently on the junction of Greenback Lane and Fairoaks Blvd. The sign board is small and can be easily missed. We got salted caramel protein iced coffee, mocha frappe, Oreo waffles, vanilla cinnamon waffle, chocolate PB bowl and all five tasted delicious. Loved the strong coffee. Limited seating, so ideal for a group of 2-3 to sit and enjoy, otherwise a grab and go place. Definitely a place to check out for people looking for healthy plant based breakfast, snack and beverages.
