Great spot for lunch! They had 8 or 9 choices of fresh homemade soups! I ordered the purple onion wrap with tots. The chicken salad in it was so tasty and the perfect consistency. My husband got the Italian melt with coleslaw and he cleaned his plate. He said it tasted great and the bread was super fresh and delicious. The star of the show for me was the cup of autumn squash soup!! It was so refreshing, warm, sweet and savory. WAY better than Panera's squash soup. It brightened me up immediately. The service was fast and friendly too. What a little treasure this restaurant is !

Oh my goodness, this place is so cute and the vibe was nice. The food was amazing. My sister and each got something and split it. It was all quite tasty and very fresh!

We had lunch at The Purple Onion today. I had the Cuban sandwich and my daughter has the chicken salad. She said it was the best chicken salad she's had. The service was great and the food was excellent. Most importantly, they could accommodate our food allergies. They made our gluten free sandwiches separate from the others and they have a dedicated GF fryer for the fries and tots. We will definitely be back.

After visiting the farmer’s market in Lakeland we stopped at the Purple Onion. The french onion soup was good with lots of delicious melted cheese ! I had the purple onion chicken club wrap and it was delicious! My companion got a side salad that was average but still good with the french onion soup! They were busy and short staffed but with all the employees working together it was a great experience! All the food came out timely and delicious! Will definitely go back!
