The Redwood Sandwich Co Chico

The best sandwiches in Chico. Super heavy on the meat and extremely fresh bread but if you want it delivered, you’re gonna have to use your newly licensed teenager to pick up at this place. My first time ordering, I got the Reuben and the French dip, but to be honest, I can’t wait to taste all the rest of the sandwiches at my new favorite place.. forgot To take a picture before they were demolished..

I've had a few sandwiches from here. The Pesto Caprese, and the Tri-tip with bleu cheese. Both are excellent and have nice portions. I got the Tri-tip one time and asked for it without grilled onions, when I got home, it had a generous portion of grilled onions (perfect if you like grilled onions), and I called the store, and they said they would remake it for me. So I popped back over and picked it up. Super friendly staff. And it was totally worth it. Because the Tri-tip and blue cheese without grilled onions is phenomenal. One of my favorite places in Chico. The Chico sourdough roll is excellent.

Went in on my lunch break to give them a 2nd try. The last time I was there was last year (my sandwich was made incorrectly then also) I ordered a veggie sandwich, no tomato, add avocado, which is an upcharge. Go back to work, no avocado, plenty of tomatoes. I spent over 20$ (not including the tip) on the sandwich and a small mac salad. I did call after my shift to let them know, the person I spoke to was very considerate and confirmed my order was wrong by looking through the past receipts. If I ate tomatoes I probably wouldn't have cared, but this just ruined my experience, again.

I pulled up next to him at the red light, his window was down so I asked him where I could get a really good deli sandwich...now get this! The officer says "follow me and don't stop until we get there" The dude jumps ahead of me and puts the red lights on and gives me a police escort all the way to the Redwood Sandwich Company Delicatessen! That's what I call service! My sando was Amazing! 5 stars all day long. ☆☆☆☆☆
