The Roma Deli

I had heard about Roma but never took the initiative . Until the last 2 months. As important as the food quality is for me, the same for the staff/atmosphere. I felt at home all over again. At my nanny's in the bronx. All of it flooded through with the home made selections. Delicious , hearty sandwiches, salads, hot foods, Italian delicacies, pastries, bread, .....The staff and the family are beyond awesome and kind . Such an inviting place . Buon Appetit 💓

We stopped here to grab a sandwich for a late lunch....OMG the sandwiches are HUGE. There was so much meat on each sandwich we were able to eat half then and the other half for dinner later that night. At 1st I was a little put off by the $15 cost per sandwich but once I saw the quality, it was all good. Both of us enjoyed our choice of sandwich and cookie. They were delicious, the bread was the perfect accompaniment. Its so hard to find a place that makes a great sandwich anymore. We'll be back for sure 😋 I wish I had thought to take a photo

Lived in NYC for 7 years. Moved up to the area a couple months ago. I had been checking out different deli in the area. Once I got to Roma Deli, I never went anywhere else. Best deli in Dutchess County for sure. Here’s the Fireman Special #73.

Just ordered from DoorDash so I likely paid more than I would've If I went in the store, which makes my inedible sandwich even more disappointing. The chicken cutlet is thin, hard and discolored. I Can not believe anyone would serve this. I couldn't even bite through the chicken cutlet, nor do I even want to considering how old it looks.

I work on the road and am always looking for a great deli. Since I found Roma it is my go-to stop. The staff is excellent, the food is fresh and the sandwiches are huge. These guys do it right. Worth the trip from anywhere.
