The Shady Hollow Inn

Yummy breakfast, great hosts

Really enjoyed our 2nd stay at The Shady Hollow Inn. They have a very nice inn that is centrally located in South Dennis. Great for bike rides and kayaking in the immediate area which has many scenic areas to explore. The rooms were meticulous with great personal touches abound in the common areas. The breakfasts were awesome, as Gary and Beth were very attentive to personal needs. We enjoyed our coffee and breakfast in the nicely kept outdoor space. Outdoor showers were a bonus after running around during the day. Gary was a wealth of knowledge for things to do including activities off the beaten path. He also has a great knowledge of the history of the cape which we enjoyed.

My husband and I spent two nights at Gary's and Beth's Shady Hollow Inn. Gary is an excellent chef, the breakfast each day was gourmet. The menu is always meatless - if you are a meat lover, you will not even miss it.||Gary is a weallth of knowledge about the local area and all of Cape Cod. He can point you to the best beaches, trails and places only the locals freequent.||Our accommodations were comfortable with all the amenities you could want. The outside patio and gardens are meticuolously maintained and it is obvious both Gary and Beth love sharing their beautiful home with guests.

We spent two nights at the Shady Hollow Inn - it was delightful. The room was spacious and private and the vegetarian breakfast was to die for. Gary and Beth provided great advise for activities. The outdoor shower was refreshing after a full day of Cape fun! I would highly recommend this Inn for vegetarians, vegans, and meat eaters who love a good quiche or stuffed French toast! We hope to make it back soon.

We spent Labor Day weekend at this charming, historic B&B. The innkeepers, Beth and Gary, greeted us on their lovely brick patio, overlooking a shady, floral hollow. The interior of this delightful inn is decorated with quilts and baskets that are handmade by Beth.We stayed in the quaint upstairs bedroom, with a large bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Breakfasts were gourmet experiences, with Gary, a professional chef as well as a master gardener, utilizing freshly picked organic vegetables and potatoes from his garden. Both innkeepers were very knowledgeable about the Cape, sharing information about their favorite beaches, scenic overlooks, hikes, nature centers, restaurants, and scenic drives. When we return to the Cape, we plan to stay there again.
