The Shipping Store

I came in on 12/20/25 to ship a package of important Cards for Christmas for our grandkids to ship to Kennewick, WA. Asked the best way on their recommendation. They put them to FedEx ground. The shipping inventory slip that goes with the truck made it to Pasco, WA but the package did not. Will find out if the package made it to Troutdale. I will get to bottom of where it probably got lifted. Or if it left Albany at all. I will find out if made it to Troutdale.

I was just there to buy a roll of stamps. When I got home, I checked what the going rate was on stamps. $.68/stamp. While the service at this place was fine, they charged a little over .10cents more for a stamp, $78.50/roll, than anywhere else I have been to. I most likely will not buy stamps there again.

DO NOT GO HERE AT ALL COSTS!! I have been shipping items through work for over 20 years and this is the most expensive place to send anything that I have ever seen. They charged my wife $350 to overnight some documents (yes, you read that right). This company is flat out scamming people and has extremely high profit margins. I would not use this place as a last resort even if it meant my job was on the line. Stay away.

I have been a customer and a renter of my mailbox, since moving to Albany in 2014. Always the best one-on-one customer service. Roger, the owner of the ‘Shipping Store’, is a very down-to-earth friendly person. He will and does, go far beyond to provide the best quality services for packaging, posting, labeling and shipping. The rates for the rented mailboxes are very reasonable compared to USPS or other similar businesses. My mail and packages are always secured and I don’t have to worry about the safety of my personal mail, unlike what I have to worry about my mailbox close to my house.

Ive probably been shipping packages here and there from this store for at least 5 years. Always kind and fast customer service and very fair prices!! :)
