The Shrimp Boat Restaurant and Seafood Market

A hole in the wall with lots of character. Service was good, two complementary head on shrimp for us to sample, but disappointed with how deep fried the grouper bites were. The Maryland crab soup should have been listed as a vegetable soup. The scallops, however, redeemed our meal they were fantastic!

Had the soft Crab sandwich. Delicious! The sample were great too. Love this place. If I didnt live 1000 miles away, I'd be here weekly. Seriously. This is probably 4th time visiting Shrimp Boat. Well worth it. The crabs were next table over.

Got there just in time for happy hour. Half off shrimp dishes and bar drinks. Steamed shrimp was amazing, seasoned heavy and perfectly cooked. Crab cake had a few shells but was tasty. Mussels could use more seasoning, but were cooked well. Will be coming back

We ended to going to The Shrimp Boat. We were sat immediately, our server went out of his way to find a colored marker for our son to draw with. He got the quarter pound smash burger with fries (it was cheaper than the kids burger) I got the Chesapeake burger and my wife got the crab cake sandwich with hush puppies. The burgers were a good size, the crab dip on my burger was very good. And my wife liked her crab cake sandwich. But I have to tell you the fries are delicious and super fresh! Everything came out fresh and hot. Our server could have been a little better about telling us the specials and checking in on us but it was the end of the night and I'm sure he was ready to be done for the night.

So about that slightly boozy Creamsicle - YUM. We chased it with appies. Crab dip also yum. happy cheerful server, sit at Kim’s table. Very nice greeter hostess also. Oh yeah you get free shrimp when you sit down like a bread basket except shrimp 🦐
