The Social Boone

We were in Boone visiting my daughter, and since she hadn’t tried The Social yet, we decided to check it out together. We were really pleased with the service—our server was warm, personable, and made us feel right at home. The whole atmosphere is laid-back and comfortable. The short rib hummus appetizer was incredibly good—rich, flavorful, and something I’d absolutely recommend. My shrimp salad was fantastic as well; the salmon on it was perfectly cooked and added a great burst of flavor. My wife tried the smashburger and said it was a total winner. Overall, we had a great experience and I’d highly recommend The Social.

What a great addition to Boone. Had the crab bisque and though it was a bit thick the flavor was exceptional and there was crab in every single bite! Followed that up with the Banh Mi sandwich which was quite good. The cole slaw type topping made the sandwich and the pork meatballs were tender and flavorful. Had a nice beer with it. Service was really fantastic while sitting at the bar; bartenders and servers were very attentive and genuinely cared about how I was doing across the meal. Great setting, too, and not too loud even though it was busy.

I tried this restaurant for the first time on a Tuesday for lunch, and everything was absolutely amazing -- from the service and drinks to the ambiance and food. Our server even had a really unique server book where guests could leave little notes or sign their names, which I thought was such a fun and personal touch. I loved flipping through and seeing what others had written. The roasted broccoli salad was our favorite dish -- it completely exceeded my expectations! I will definitely be coming back the next time I visit Boone

The Social is such a beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere, and the service was genuinely good. Unfortunately, the food was below average and didn’t live up to the setting or the experience the space promises. It’s a real shame because the restaurant itself is so pretty and has so much potential. I’d love to see the menu improve to match the ambiance and service.

Wish I could just go here daily!!! Omg absolutely gorgeous interior space and the service is excellent!! Menu is curated well and drinks were divine. Sooo glad my app state student told me to check it out. Will make several more stops here. Love love love.
