The Spot mini

I was excited to try The Spot Mini—it’s a nice little place with a chill vibe. I ordered a medium Mango Green Tea Milk Foam Smoothie, which came to about $7.41 with tax. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with the quality of the drink. While the flavor itself was good, the smoothie wasn’t well blended. I didn’t notice until I had already taken a few sips, but the texture made it hard to fully enjoy what could have been a delicious drink from start to finish. Given the price and my expectations, this was a letdown. I’d suggest training the staff on how to properly blend smoothies so customers can enjoy the full flavor and consistency. I'm honestly not sure if I’ll be returning

If you want a nice place to sit and chill while waiting for class or for your Uber, this is a nice place to be. Can’t go wrong with GongCha bubble tea as well! IF YOU WANT FOOD, think twice or try SeoulSpice…. My food (Chicken Kaarage Bento Box) is bland/tasteless and sitting in a POOL of oil. It’s so oily that the skin, which is supposed to be fried, is now soft and congealed. I only left 5 mins ago to eat. ****I came back to edit this post to say this was the worst meal I’ve had in a long time. Everything is tasteless and has a “mushy” consistency. If you’re looking for Asian-cuisine, turn around. There are plenty in CP.**** Save your money!!

I had a craving for sushi and checked uber eats and they had a buy one get one free deal on a few items! We took advantage of the bogo deal and chose the sashimi appetizer (salmon, yellowtail, and tuna) and the spicy salmon roll. All of the fish were so fresh and tasty. We also grabbed an avocado salad which comes with ginger dressing. In my opinion, the dressing is a bit on the sweeter side and would have preferred less so. Definitely a winner in my book for quick service that’s dependable regarding freshness and taste!

The spot mini is a go-to place if you want to study, or talk with friends. Their sushi is very delicious and appetizing, and their drinks are amazing.The whole aesthetic of the place feels cozy and warm. Overall if you’re looking for a place to hangout, the spot mini is just for you.

It is very close to the UMD campus, and offers a variety of Asian food. All the dishes I tried were okay for their prices. The service can be a bit slow, and they used plenty of packages even though I indicated dining in. I guess it would be convenient for take-out.
