The St. Augustine Scoop

The St. Augustine Scoop quickly became one of our favorite stops of the trip — so much so that we went twice during our visit! The prices were fantastic, around $5 per person for waffle cones piled high with whatever flavors the kids wanted. The lady working the register was incredibly friendly and helpful. She happily offered samples so the kids could try different flavors, even sharing her own favorites. Her warmth and genuine personality made the experience even sweeter. She also pointed us toward some fun jewelry in the shop, which was such a thoughtful touch and added to the charm of the visit. Every cone was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. I always love this place! 💕 Located in uptown St. Augustine, it’s such a cute little shop and a must-stop if you’re in the area. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, and they’re more than happy to answer any questions or let you sample a flavor or two before you commit. That extra touch really makes the whole experience even sweeter! My go-to order is either a waffle cone or a waffle bowl (depending on the mood 😄) with their coconut chocolate almond ice cream — it’s rich, creamy, and loaded with flavor. Absolutely obsessed. Whether you’re visiting from out of town or a local looking to beat the heat, The Scoop is always worth a visit!🍦

Excellent option for Gluten free ice cream. We tried two different flavors : Dark Chocolate and Blueberry Cake and both were delicious. Also the service is very nice and friendly. The place is not in the crowded area. I recommend you to get an ice cream there and walk to the downtown and historic places.
