The Sweet Life Café

I had a wonderful meal here at the the bar with some friends. The food was delicious, the drinks were well made and the bartender was funny and knowledgeable. Its definitely one of my favorite places to get a delicious meal on the island and I can't wait to go back! We had a mix of dishes from the grilled octopus to some agnolotti that had us ready to lick the plate. Salad and fish along with a sticky toffee desert that I could eat all day.

We had a great vegan meal here. The menu includes one fully vegan entrée and a couple of others that they offered to veganize for us. We shared the focaccia, the mafalde maitakes (vegan), and the pumpkin risotto (veganized), and it was all delicious. (They also offered to veganize the purple potatoes entree.) The service was wonderful - and our waitperson knew all about the vegan options without having to check with the kitchen. The atmosphere was relaxing and festive. Highly recommended.

Excellent restaurant in Oak Bluff. We started with the Negroni with Balsamic. Delicious. We share the focaccia, the mussels and mafalde. Each was wonderful. For mains, we had the sea scallops, tautog and pork chops. Each dish was fantastic and enjoyed by all. I highly recommend.

Environment was on point. Service was surprisingly sub par for such a nice spot. Our server was good, but others didn't seem to quite understand restaurant etiquette. Scallop dish was yummy with the pomegranate seeds. Octopus was a bit charred, as was the focaccia but still pretty tasty. Pork belly was amazing.

Great food and drink! Had a fabulous solo lunch while visiting Oak Bluffs. Nick was so wonderful and made this visit worthwhile.
