The Taco Joint

The Taco Joint in Hollywood had potential, but our experience was definitely mixed. We’re vegan, and even after clearly telling them our order, it still came out wrong. When we pointed it out, instead of fixing it easily, they wanted to charge us more even though the mistake wasn’t on our end. On top of that, they had already added their own tip, which made the situation feel even more frustrating. The food itself was decent once it was corrected, and the place has a nice vibe, but the service really took away from the experience. We didn’t feel heard, and it turned what should’ve been a simple fix into an unnecessary hassle.

THIS! This is THE spot for excellence in tacos and more! Super super fast service from the kindest staff. The two beef taco platter was my choice and it was perfect! If you don’t dine here then your visit to the Hollywood Broadwalk is incomplete.

I’ve visited this place 3 times before leaving a review . All 3 times I’ve had horrible service, the last time I sat there 2 hours with an dirty tray and empty pineapple, sandy brown beard didn’t even give me a water but made a priority for every customer to get a cup of ice water when being seated… weird, watched 4 tables get served and cashed out, my server made himself a drink, and grabbed his phone disappearing in the kitchen before I got a second drink (I never got a 2nd drink btw…) Beef Nachos, chicken & Al pastor taco, and pineapple drinks are 10/10 . Lobster taco taste like imitation crab fried 2/10.

If you want to eat the best tacos in Hollywood come to THE TACO JOINT! Without a doubt, it’s the best option. You enjoy amazing Mexican food right by the bar, and Dani takes care of you — he’s wonderful!

Nice spot to sit and have a good meal. My favorite was the crispy shrimp tacos. I wish the rice was cooked better, other than that everything was great from the service to the food we got. Definitely recommend!
