I give one star because under their title it states they are nonpartisan & nonprofit. This news outlet is definitely not nonpartisan! They are pro Orourke, anti Governor Abbott & anti Senator Cruz! They lean way far 2 the left on issues regarding the border,big business etc! I wouldn't be so critical if they would just take nonpartisan off of their title & admit they are a liberal,leftwing Democratic news outlet!! They are pretty much The CNN of Texas journalism!
They claim to be a non-partisan publication. However I find their writing to be way left of center most of the time. At least they try to do some research however I get the feeling that most of their writers are still in college.
I depend on TT and The Chronicle to keep me abreast of what happening in the community. Very grateful to you both, but especially TT for concise, reliable reporting — especially when it comes to public policy.

They're making it work. I love this publication, but I feel like they need a better online presence. If you've never read it....check it out.
