The Vreeland Store

Great service, very friendly staff. Food very good and served hot, very interesting restaurant with a good menu. Also has bakery in rear, I was a little disappointed in the baked goods. Lots of parking, it's worth the drive. We were a party of 4 and all pleased with everything. I don't think they do have over night accommodations?.

The Vreeland House is local for us and I consider it a real treat every time I have the opportunity to go. It is a step back in time. The atmosphere is relaxing, all the employees are warm and friendly and the food is amazing! Everything is fresh and/or homemade. The bakery is wonderful. It's also a great place to stop for a coffee and sweet treat to go if you're just passing by. I can highly recommend going for breakfast or lunch and I look forward to going for dinner.

The place is a historic general store which is its charm and attraction. The food was phenomenal but need to work on plate presentation and the wait staff needs additional training on attentiveness and basic table service skillls. Sorry I was in the food service for 35 years! I am a stickler for customer service. I will return to try more of the food. So should you.....

Stopped in for brunch on a scenic day drive. The atmosphere is comfy, w/quaint antique decor. My Vreeland Benny on a yummy scone was delicious, and their BloodyMary was perfect, just the right amount of heat & spice. Our servers were welcoming, attentive & friendly. We'll definitely be repeat customers.

Clean, comfortable room, great food and wonderful hospitality. It has been lovely to see this place come alive after so many years. Kudos to the owners for preserving this local landmark.
