Not as good as it used to be. Did they change the chef, I reckon? First, avoid their beef at all costs. 50 bucks for this (shown in fig 1)? Full of chips with dry brisket. As far as the meat-to-chips ratio… it is insane. Furthermore, I ordered medium well, but the brisket is dry and super salty with an overcooked coat. It could burn my taste buds. Other than that, the lamp is used to be very crispy at the rim with a juicy inside. The waiting time when I was there drives me crazy, 20 mins at a minimum. I could tell the seats are quite empty. However, the server is well-trained and cool. The cocktail is decent. Not worth spending 100 bucks here anymore as far as I am concerned with their food.

I’ll admit, I was a bit skeptical after reading some recent reviews, but I’m so glad I decided to give The West Table a chance and what a fantastic experience it turned out to be! From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch. The hostess with short hair (unfortunately I didn’t catch her name) was warm and welcoming, and Mason, our server, was absolutely wonderful. I was there with my kids, and right away they offered high chairs and brought water without us even having to ask. Mason kindly let us know that the food might take a little while since everything is freshly made to order, which we really appreciated. It helped set our expectations and made the wait feel totally reasonable (especially since we ordered steaks!). The food itself was excellent. The beetroot salad and crab

Overall an excellent experience. Service was very good, not rushed but never kept us waiting. Each food item was delicious. This is one of the few places out here in Lubbock where everything was cooked perfectly. My rare steak was actually cooked rare, our guests had pork chops that were beautifully juicy, and the quail appetizer was flavorful and crisp. Even the vegetables were flavorful and tender. Highly recommend and we will defintiely return. Reservations recommended.

I came here while I was out of town visiting Lubbock. I like searching for new American or chef to table type restaurants. The West Table did not disappoint. I had the quail and brussels sprout appetizer, the beet and goat cheese salad, the pork chops, and in my mind, I had the crème brûlée, but I actually didn’t have enough space to fit that in, so I didn’t actually try it. I actually liked it all so much that I asked to ChatGPT “ are there any restaurants like West Table in Denver?” If I had ordered the same meal in Denver, it would’ve been half the size and twice the cost. They say that everything is bigger in Texas, but I’m telling you that the portion size here was huge for this type of restaurant. I could barely eat it all. It was crazy. And crazy delicious. I think that the price

We enjoyed a fabulous dinner here around 5:30 on 7/18 while celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary. We were warmly welcomed and immediately seated upon arrival. I had made reservations on yelp, but the place was pretty empty when we showed up. It filled up fast around 6:30 though, so definitely make reservations if you dine later in the evening. We ordered from the zero proof refreshers menu, which was fantastic. We were so glad there were nonalcoholic options here! We ended up trying the palomita blanca, the red berry sour, and the baby blue. Which were all fantastic, but the sour was the best, even though I had to be talked into ordering it since it mentioned containing egg whites. Don’t be afraid to try it! It’s awesome. For our appetizers, we got the crab hush puppies, which were cri
